JLAP is about community.
Through this organization, people like you work to help others get the help they need.
Who do we serve? The public at large by providing mental health services to judges, lawyers, their family members and law students.
What are some of the issues the legal community faces? High stress in their profession, depression, anxiety, addiction, and issues related to aging which may impair functioning.
What are the funds for? To serve all of Arkansas’ legal community equally by providing grants for no-cost counseling to clients who live outside Central Arkansas.
To provide grants for short-term services necessary for recovery for clients who are in financial distress.
With the money you’ve given, JLAP has provided grants for over 80 people.
In 2016, JLAP provided 47% of its clients with grant money for therapy and other assistance.
The need is growing. Client funding needs have already increased by 26% in 2017.
